Anxiety: What's All of This Stress About?
Glenda will be presenting a 4 week psychoeducational workshop focusing on the physiology of stress and how awareness, assessment of strengths, and coping strategies can improve outcomes. Learn to assess and determine what is effective and working in your favor and what is blocking you from your end goal.
Wednesday nights starting NOVEMBER 15, 6:30-7:30pm! (Will not meet Wed 11/22)
The next group of workshops that will be offered will be 4 weeks of mindfulness/meditation/body relaxation strategies.
CBT Skills is a group being offered that will address the following: identify helpful versus unhelpful thinking patterns; focus on gaining mindfulness of how thoughts affect emotions and behaviors; learn restructuring skills for more effective thought patterns.
A DBT Skills Group for anxiety will be starting soon. This will be a 12 week psychoeducational group covering Mindfulness, Distress Tolerance, Emotion Regulation and Interpersonal Effectiveness.
