About Kristen, MA, LPC

Kristen Gurick is a Licensed Professional Counselor (NJ license #37PC00875200. She is also a National Certified Counselor. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Women's & Gender Studies from The College of New Jersey in 2007 and a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Adams State University.

Kristen utilizes an eclectic approach tailored to each client's individual needs and goals. She incorporates a variety of counseling techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, and a strengths-based approach to overcoming challenges. She believes in meeting clients where they are and creating a safe space where all clients feel welcome and comfortable.
